a few words on the Iranian Election

I have just a feeeeew things to blurt out right now about the election/war going on in and around Iran.

I'm reaaaaally pissed off right now at all the ignorant people posting Tweets on Twitter saying stupid things like:

'Why is everyone going on and on about this Iran election, no-one gives a shit!'

and 'Who gives a fuck about the Iranians, they can just sort out their own mess'

etc.

and to be QUITE FRANK:

I DO GIVE A SHIT AND I DO GIVE A FUCK.

So if there's anyone on Buzznet posting Tweets like that on Twitter, I really urge you to shut the fuck up and do some research before you go on posting ignorant tweets for the rest of the world to see.

Just to clarify and enlighten some with some new knowledge:

my parents left Iran during the Islamic revolution and haven't been back since.

it's been almost 25 years since they left their home country.

Blame Islam for making it too dangerous and unreliable to go back - not their choice.

Having said that, this election could be a new window of opportunity for us to go back.

I can say that it's the same case for MANY other Iranian families living in foreign countries, so this IS a big deal, and I'd appreciate the support of those who care.

And to those who don't: Please do us a favour of shutting the fuck up and going on with your own, peaceful lives.

my poor baby has been sleeping in my bed for the past few days because it's so cold in his own room.

but he's been having fun :)

he and i schemed a mischievous plot to have him pee in my sisters room during the middle of the night

Nothing worse than a bad service provider

There are two words I've been using a thousand times for the past four weeks.

"FUCK TELSTRA".

I have never seen such a well-torn, death-defining, selfish telecommunications company in my life.

It took them over a week to approve the fact that we DID NOT have an outstanding balance that needed to be paid BEFORE they even sent the modem. They got my dad mixed with some other idiot.

And even prior to them sending the modem, they had two technicians come to our property to check some shit out and INSTALL something we didn't even need. (In which they charged $300 for nothing).

And now, I've been on the phone with them everyday since Friday for around 2-4 hours and being put on hold for most of the time. Talking to at least 6 consultants each call, who redirect me to another consultant who redirect me to another one until I reach a closed line.

On top of that, my phone's been disconnected because my parents aren't paying for my sisters bill which is on the same contract as mine. They've payed mine, but they want her to pay hers because she's working now. And so I'm disconnected because she is.

And now, Telstra just connected a freakin temporary dial-up connection until the ADSL is fixed (which would be never).
Oh, and not to mention the fact that they DELAYED activation by like, 4 hours and I ALSO had to call them at least twice to get the shitty details I needed to dial for the internet.

So I'm pissed and I have this to say:

Emerald Lakes can shove shit back up it's ass and find a new telecommuncations contract because Telstra isn't doing shit for you.

So now its not internet til Monday

I'm beginning to get dead-angry with this stupid suburb. So well, some people from my old service provider came to transfer/install the phone and internet lines yesterday (thursday), only to discover they can't because Emerald Lakes is part of the freakin Telstra Smart Community shit or something. And so apparently, they'l be coming to install everything on monday by telstra. But overall, theres a plus side. So with the telstra thing, we get cable internet which means mass-fast internet uploads and downloads and foxtel and stuff, so the wait is almost worth it. But also on the plus side, my parents have agreed to letting me go to United Nations International School in new york, and so they need to email the school for the appliction and visa, when we finally get the internet. Which also means that the visa allows me to come 30 days prior to the commencement of the program, meaning il be there around august 5 or 4. But i dont know who to stay with. so i have to find everything all out by the school. So i guess il get back to everyone on monday! <33

Godddddaammit. Im so freakin' moody these days. So i've moved to my new house at Emerald Lakes on the gold coast, and its an amazing place and everything, its just the stupidd internet thats taking so god damn long. So in the mean time, i've been making like a thousand songs on my mac, all which have written lyrics to (but haven't been recorded), so i'l upload them on thursday to myspace.com/romannikolesmusic. But i'm still so angry about this whole internet shit. I've been doing everything from my phone, hence the profile-photo-less profile, and it wont let me comment anyone back or anything, so i apologize to everyone thats sent me something.
